stored (cached) on your hard drive when you access sites.
Deleting the temporary files stored by IE usually fixes the
problem. Please follow the instructions on our Clearing Internet Explorer Cache you receive the message "Sorry, Your ID has failed to authenticate: Patron not found in database" There are a few reasons why we may not be able to find your ID in our system. One is that you may have typed it incorrectly. Please try to enter it more than once. The other is that the Library PID database is regularly updated from the University master PID database. Although you may have confirmed that you have a valid PID, your access to Library resources would fail if your PID were not yet added to the Library database. To inquire about the status of your PID in the Library database, please contact the Davis Library Circulation Desk at 962-1053 or the Health Sciences Library Circulation Desk at 962-0800. You may also contact the UNC-CH Proxy Server Team. Please include your name and the ID you were attempting to use. you receive the message "Sorry, Your ID has failed to authenticate: Patron class/qualifier not valid for remote access" The ID you used, due to licensing restrictions, is excluded
